From Macau to Zhongshan and from Zhongshan to Macau

The most common and convenient way to come to Zhongshan from Macao is walking pass the Barrier Gate（关闸）in Macao to the Gongbei Customs（拱北口岸）in Zhuhai. After that you may go to the bus station outside the Gongbei Customs to come over Zhongshan (please refer to the link “From Zhuhai to Zhongshan” to check out more details of the buses).

The border travelling details (Macao - Zhuhai):
Transport: by foot
Opening Hours: from 7:30 until 24:00
(Crossing this border can take quite a long time especially at weekends.)

Once in Macau
From the Central Square（民政总署）, take a taxi (10 to 15 minutes, around 20 Mop) or the bus 3 to the Barrier Gate.

However, if you missed the buses to come over Zhongshan, you still can take a Zhuhai taxi from the Gongbei Customs to Xiazha checkpoint（下栅检查站）. You may find out that there are many Zhongshan taxis there, which is shown “粤T” in the car plate. Then you can bargain with the driver, about ￥200 Yuan can take you to anywhere in Zhongshan.
